Artist Statement
My work deals with Trauma. I look at an individuals relationship to trauma and how that plays out over time. In some of my work I take mechanisms used to deal with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and I test them. In other work I explore the way trauma effects individuals both physically and mentally and play out these ideas in more narrative based work.
