Scapelines / 7:09 minutes
Artist name: Thomas David Porett
The ScapeLines video has been derived from still images of garlic scapes that have been altered to forms that go beyond simple plant forms. New shapes have been derived and re-combined and have been transformed into video sequences. These sequences have then been composited into a time based work intended to be viewed on large scale screens or projections ideally as continuous installation. The accompanying soundtrack is an original composition created with Ableton Live, software synthesizer. The edit was realized using Final Cut Pro X.
